Q: Can corrections be made to the error in the online application form after final submission ?

Answer:
No corrections can be made to the error in the online application form once it has been finally submitted. Applicants may edit the entries made in their online application before final submission. Applicants can cancel their previously submitted application before the last date for application and re-apply with a new application form.
Q: In case of filling two applications, can the fee of one application form be refunded ?

Answer:
There is no provision for the refund of the application fee after the form has been finally filled and submitted.
Q: Can applicants fill more than one application form ?

Answer:
No. All the applications will be cancelled if applicants fill out more than one application form.
Q: Will a woman candidate resident from outside Bihar get the benefit of reservation ?

Answer:
A woman candidate residing outside the state of Bihar will be eligible under the general category (woman).
Q: Can cadidates get their answer sheets re-evaluated ?

Answer:
There is no provision for re-evaluation of answer sheets (OMR).
Q: Can a foreign citizen apply for appointment to the post of Sub Inspector ?

No.
Q: For what reasons can the applicant's application be rejected ?

Answer:
The applicant's application may be rejected for the following reasons:-
(i) Filling the first part (registration) of the application form, but don't fill out and submit the second part.
(ii) The applicant has not uploaded a valid photograph or signature or has uploaded the photograph and signature of another person.
(iii) Non-payment of application fee online or get the amount back from the bank in the form of chargeback after payment.
(iv) Providing false information in the application.
(v) Filling of wrong reservation category or claiming any reservation category by and applicant belonging to unreserved (General) category.
(vi) Information given in the application is found to be incorrect during document verification.
(vii) Incorrectly entered date of birth mentioned in the application.
(viii) Incorrectly entered wrong gender in the application.
(ix) The applicant does not fulfil the eligibility criteria for candidature such as being beyond the prescribed age limit on the specified date, not possessing the required educational qualification as on the cut-off date and not being an Indian citizen etc.
(x) Non-production of certificate issued by the competent authority.
(xi) Failure to submit t the certificate in the correct format, such as-
(a) If caste certificate, permanent residence certificate and non-creamy layer certificate (where it is implemented) for a married female candidate under reservation category is submitted on the basis of husband's details instead of father's details, then her candidature may get cancelled, as caste is determined by birth and not by marriage.
(b) The applicant claims to belong to a reserved category in the application but on document verification he is found to belong to a different reserved category or an unreserved category.
(xii) The applicant is found involved in any criminal case/activity.
(xiii) The applicant has committed or attempted to commit fraud in the written examination or verification of certificates. This includes impersonation, misconduct, etc.
(xiv) The applicant gives or attempts to give any inducement or threat to the personnel involved in examination work.
(xv) Any other circumstance which is contrary to the advertisement or be found to be against the malpractice-free conduct of competitive examination in general.
